Hello Lovelies! It's a testament to how busy I get in Summer that I only got around to using this bath bomb today. I actually bought it over a month ago with Yoga Bomb but it's been lying unused in my collection ever since. In all honesty I use the most Lush bath products when seasonal collections come out, so you can tell I am SUPER excited for this year's Halloween collection, and of course the Christmas collections because they are always my favourites!
Golden Slumbers (£3.35) is a rather simple looking gold bath bomb, with a surprisingly herbal scent. It reminds me slightly of Yoga Bomb (it's in the same scent arena) and apparently it's a mix of Lavender, Chamomile and Neroli which combine to create a relaxing and calming scent. When you drop this into your bath, it is definitely a wow moment, like really wow. If you hate glitter then this is definitely not for you, because this bath bomb immediately creates a beautiful gold glittery bath. Eventually after the bath bomb has fully dissolved, you're left with a lovely gold bath with shimmers of glitter inside which doesn't show up so well on photos but looks really pretty in real life. What I like about this bath bomb is that while it's stunning, it also has a really relaxing scent and feel which is perfect for me as I currently have a horrible cold - so it's just what I needed!
So all in all I really loved using Golden Slumbers. My only problem with it was that although the colour didn't stain my body and the glitter didn't get all over me, I did have to wash my bath afterwards as there was quite a bit of colour stain on my bath. This comes off really easily with a proper bath cleaner though so don't worry about it staining the bath! Other than that it makes your bath so gorgeous and relaxing!
Now I just need to get my hands on the Ylang Song bath bomb and then I'll have reviewed all the Oxford Street Exclusive bath bombs (eek, is that even a good thing?). Thank you so much for reading this review lovelies! Let me know if you've used any Lush products recently in the comment section below!
This sounds so relaxing, I'm loving Lush's range at the moment!

Well of the general collection I love Fizzbanger, Dragon's Egg and Twilight. But from the new ones, Intergalactic, Frozen and The Experimenter are my faves! x
DeleteEeeeek I'm SO excited to use this now! My boyfriend bought me it from the Lush Kitchen, so it's really special to me as it was my first order from the Kitchen! The scent of my one smells SO strong though, I really want to use it when I need a good relaxing bath as I know the lavender will be perfect for helping me sleep. Beautiful photos as always!

Aww that's cute and haha I think mine probably smelt really strong in the beginning but I'd had it for so long that I kind of got used to the scent and it probably faded away! Thanks Lauren! x
