Hello Lovelies! For Spring/Summer on the blog I decided I wanted to try something a little different here, and start doing some drink recipes because what is better this time of year than a lovely cold drink? Besides, I love any excuse for some yummy treats. Today I wanted to do a milkshake inspired by the Custard Cream biscuit, which is one that just makes me feel so happy and nostalgic. There's something about them that just makes me feel like a child again whenever I eat one.
You will need: (for one)
Milk 150ml
Custard 200g
Caster Sugar 3tsps
Vanilla Essence
Whipped Cream
Custard Cream Biscuits
This recipe is actually super easy, and hassle free so perfect if you want a quick, easy but super tasty drink. First put 200g of Custard into a container (I put it into a measuring jug), then add the milk and mix until both have completely blended together. Add the sugar (if desired) and stir in, then add a little vanilla essence, up to a teaspoon full - anymore and it will be too strong. Then simply add as much whipped as you want. I found that vanilla whipped cream works best, as it really compliments the drink. Finally top off with a Custard Cream biscuit and your Custard Cream Milkshake is ready!
Thanks for reading lovelies! Have you been making any drinks/yummy food especially for Spring? Do let me know! Tonight I shall be watching Eurovision (my greatest guilty pleasure), and I couldn't be more excited for it.
This looks delicious! I don't even know what a custard cream biscuit is but I want one!
