Review: Lush's Mother Superior Bubble Bar


Hey lovelies! After the slightly mixed feelings I had about Lush's Bubblegrub Bubbleroon, I was honestly feeling a little unenthused about Lush's Mother's Day collection. It just hasn't excited me as much as their Christmas or Halloween collection which is a bit of a shame. However, I have to say I really loved their Mother Superior Bubble Bar (£3.75). For those of you who are confused about what it is meant to be, it is actually a nun! Scent wise I am really not sure what this smells like but apparently the scent is meant to be similar to Sakura as it has a mixture of Jasmine and Citrus scents. But honestly I'm not even going to try and describe to you what this smells like because I am so horrendous at it! What I will say though is that I do like the smell. 

Mother Superior is a pretty large bubble bar, so I'm sure you can get more than one use out of it, if not three. At first it makes your bath look this beautiful frosty colour - very similar to the Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar, but as you add more of the bubble bar it turns this really beautiful blue colour. If that wasn't good enough, it makes your bath water so lovely and bubbly. I have to say that this is definitely one of my favourite bubble bars I have tried so far, because it's a fun idea and it makes your bath gorgeous. I literally stared at the water for forever, it's that pretty! So if you're thinking of getting your mother one of the mother's day collection, I would really suggest this one, as it makes your bath water so much nicer than the Bubblegrub and it has a scent that a lot of people will love.

      Yeah, it's such a lovely colour. Definitely makes you want to jump straight into the bath!

    ooh I need this :3 and the collection hasn't excited me as much as Christmas, I don't know why. (Ok, I did go into a Lush overload in the summer haha)

      Haha, yeah it hasn't really excited me as much as Christmas. But then I am a massive Christmas fan and everything in that collection was so darn cute :)

    I haven't bought anything from the mothers day range from Lush, but this gives a really nice colour to the bath so I might have to try it! :)

      That's probably because I just love trying out Lush products so much - but out of the products I've tried so far it's my favourite. Definitely a lot better than Bubblegrub!
