Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (18th May - 24th May)

Hello Lovelies! It's yet another Monday and the start of a slightly stressful week for me because it is packed with exams but on the bright side they'll soon be over. Today's picks are a strong contrast to last week's, with more muted natural colours. The first three items come from one of my all time favourite brands West Elm, which I regularly visit in store to get some Homeware inspiration as I love the way they quirkily mix natural materials with modern design. Also among the mix are items from the cool brand Oyoy, Urbanara and Volpe and Volpe. Happy Monday lovelies!

1. Deer Boxwood Animal Head £79.95 (on sale from £159.00) [x] : Stag heads have been a classic homeware piece for what seems like forever but I love West Elm's modern take on it. The mixture of the faux greenery with the wood horns looks magical. There's also a moose version too.

2. Cube Terrarium £44.00 [x] : Terrariums seem to have come out of nowhere, but suddenly they've become one of the trendy must haves (they are all over pinterest haha). I'm in love with this geometric design, and almost don't feel cool enough to own one.

3. Reclaimed Wood Shelf + Branch Brackets £59.00 (for 61cm version) [x] : Shelves aren't really something that I often get excited about but this reclaimed wood shelf with branch brackets really caught my imagination. It comes in three sizes (this is the smallest) and there's also a much more expensive marble version too.

4. Oyoy Chevron Bread Board £25.00 [x] : If you're looking for a fun bread board then look no further, as this chevron one is bound to bring a bit of modern flair to your kitchen.

5.  Volpe and Volpe Natural Swan Vase £45.00 [x] : When I first saw this vase I fell in love, but then I questioned how you can even use it as a vase - then I saw this image and fell even more in love. It looks magical with or without flowers, and it's definitely something I see in my dream home. The vase also comes in a variety of shades including pretty pastels and a bigger size.

6. Zastron Cushion £29.00 [x] : One of the things I really love is bold prints, but what I really liked about this cushion is that it the lime colour it has keeps it feeling cool and not too in your face. Perfect for a laid back interior feel.

Thank you for reading lovelies - and as always let me know what was your favourite piece from this week!

  1. Oh my, I absolutely love the swan vase - how pretty would that look on the centre of a fireplace or window sill? What a gorgeous looking product. I love the cube Terrarium's too, so pretty and edgy in the cube design. Great post.
