Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (15th June - 21st June)


Hello Lovelies! This week I've been really uninspired, meaning that it seemed to take forever to pick out anything at all. If you know me well, I am super picky when it comes to homeware, so I ended up searching everywhere to find something special. As it turned out I stumbled across some things I really love, so I hope you enjoy them too - even though it's a very random selection! Picks are from David Shrigley, Baines&Fricker, Joules, UniqueandUnity, MiniModerns and Andrea Lauren.

1. Animal Constellations Cushion $27.00 [x] : I've fallen in love with this cushion, with its magical constellation details - it's really just one of those special pieces that you can keep looking at.

2. Enamelware Kettle in Mustard £39.95 [x] : If you're looking for something to suit a traditional country home and have a slightly modern edge, this kettle is perfect. Just note that you need to use it on a hob or gas flame (to heat the water up). 

3. Baines&Fricker Cat Cushion £45.00 [x] : As someone who absolutely love cats (but actually has a dog), I am in love with this quirky cat cushion. It's super cute, and I love how grumpy the cats look. 

4. David Shrigley Tea Set (Teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug) £150.00 [x] : When I was doing my research for Six Fun Afternoon Teas In London I came across this super quirky tea set they use at The Sketch. Admittedly it's way out of my price range, but I love how it reminds me of Alice In Wonderland and is just pleasantly quirky. 

5. Dog Handkerchief Set £15.00 [x] : As Father's Day is coming up I've been thinking hard about what I might get my dad (men are just way too hard to buy for). I figure as he loves his handkerchieves, he would really love this quirky set. 

6. Animal Egg Cups Set of 4 £14.95 [x] : This cheery egg cup set from Joules is perfect for a country home - plus they will add a bit of colour to your kitchen too, making a great display piece.

    My favourite out of the bunch this week would have to be the kettle! I loovee the colour and I also really like the quirky pattern around the bottom. I agree with you though - I can also be very picky when it comes to picking out homeware items, plus being very indecisive doesn't really help - so I feel you haha! xx

    If I buy another cushion, I think my husband will suffocate me with it. LOL! Love the kettle but I reckon it's not suitable for electric stove?

      Apparently you can use it on an electric hob? I honestly don't know if that's the same as a stove or not LOL (oven stuff is not my strong point!)

    I love that tea set!! I am after one at the moment, for entertaining guests... (at the moment, my guests get their own huge mug of tea) I'm seriously debating splurging on this set it looks so cute! Xx
