Hello Lovelies! I was inspired to do this post by one of my best friends Amy who has been on a gap year this year, and lives literally five minutes away from me. She's off to Uni this year (and I am going to miss her SO much) and although I'm sad she's leaving I wanted to put together a list of fun uni essentials that she and my followers can use. Of course this list isn't everything - you can find so many helpful ones online of all you need but I hope it starts to get you inspired and excited about uni whether you're going there for the first time or returning. But even if you aren't off to uni, there are still things here that you might want to add to your home too!
1.White Picture Frame Trio £10.00 [x] | 2. George Home Letter V Cushion £5.00 [x] | 3. Cotton Cushion Cover £3.99 [x] 4. Heart Multi Collage Frame £20.00 [x] | 5. Fake Fur Blanket £49.99 [x] | 6. Elephant Lamp in Mint [x] | 7. 3 Pack Candles £4.99 [x]
Picture frames are a great way to easily make a place feel like home, go for a large one for multiple photos like this lovely Heart Multi Collage Frame or go for something a little more versatile like this White Picture Frame Trio which can either be placed on a surface on hung on the wall. For your bed get a blanket like this fluffy Fake Fur Blanket for the colder months, and add some cushions like this George Home Letter Cushion or this minimal Cotton Cushion Cover. To accessorise your room look for pretty candle sets like this Pack of 3 or fun lamps like this utterly adorable Elephant Lamp in Mint.

Add a bit of sunshine to your kitchen with these Skack Serving Bowls Set of 2 and buy a coaster like this It's Not All Rainbow Sprinkles Coaster to instantly and easily add a little character to your room. Of course you'll need some cooking essentials, but look for these in fun colours like this Legitim Chopping Board Set or these Silicone Kitchen Essentials. For a more muted look try much more neutral colours like on this George Home Natural Double Oven Glove or this pretty Mint Jar. If you like a bit of novelty, get one of these Jumbo Cutlery Drainers (The excess water comes out of its trunk!) or this super adorable but annoyingly expensive Panda Stackable Bowl and Mug Set which is perfect for Uni meals.

ReplyDeleteI think the best way to make a house a home is to make it cosy, add blankies, pillows, candles, fairy lights and stuff around the place. Last year my housemates had those green and blue chopping boards, they're really good. :) I really want to get cute stationary for the year. :3
