Hello Lovelies! First up I should probably point out that my Weekly Homeware/Gifts picks now has a new name - The Monday Home Edit. I decided to re-name it simply because the last name was a bit of a mouthful, and I'm trying to switch things up a little bit in my corner of the internet and hopefully improve my blog a bit for y'all.
This week I was inspired by the idea of city chic. You can probably blame this all on the fact that I have been re-watching Gossip Girl lately, and am finally on the last season which I actually never watched. I'm not going to lie at this point I only really care about Chuck and Blair (because favourite couple ever). This week all the picks come from H&M Home! If you haven't looked at H&M's home collection before, I guarantee you'll be surprised by how good it is. It's packed with stylish, fun and super affordable homeware and honestly they are just killing it lately.

1. Round Mirror £24.99 [x] : This mirror has one of those classic styles that to be honest really never goes out of style, and instantly adds a bit of glam to any room.
2. Patterned Cushion Cover £7.99 [x] : For some reason this cat cushion really gives me a Breakfast at Tiffany's vibe (not even sure why) but I just love how dainty and cute this print is. Love, love, love.
3. Printed Porcelain Mug £6.99 [x] : You can never have too many mugs, like seriously I'm a big believer in this so I just think this cute little cat mug is adorable. I just wish there was a matching tea pot.
4. Metal Candlestick £12.99 [x] : I've started to realise that in order for me to like a piece of homeware, it just has to be animal shaped and bam! I'm in love. But seriously this candlestick is adorable, and perfect if you want to embrace a fun jungle theme at home.
5. Scented Candle in Glass Holder £12.99 [x] : I have a feeling this might surprise you guys, but I actually don't like candles and the reason I don't is super stupid. Basically I have a fear I'll burn the house down, so they make me far from chilled. That said for those who do like candles, this one is super chic and makes a great present too.
6. Plate with a Metallic Print £6.99 [x] : Despite having a bit of country girl in me (do love a good country walk), I have always loved cities more than anywhere else. So this city skyline plate has really caught my eye. You can either use it as a display piece, or for fancy meals.
Thank you for reading lovelies! On a slightly sadder note I just wanted to express my sadness after the Orlando shooting. I honestly really haven't found the words to articulate how I feel on the subject, except to say that after all the strides and amazing steps forward that the LGBTQ movement has made this feels like a devastating step backwards. But that said, there is a power in love, so I guess we all have to look at Orlando and be determined to love more, accept more and just be kind because to be honest as that has shown life is just too short. Have an amazing week lovelies, and remember to just live your life to the fullest.
The cup is so lovely! Xx

I couldn't believe what had happened in Orlando! What has the world come to? Anyway, really like the theme this week. The mirror is so cute and I'm an absolute sucker for the cat pillow case!
