Hello Lovelies! Do you ever think about what your life would be like if you never started a blog? For me I always imagine it a little bit like that scene in It's A Wonderful Life. You know when George Bailey is running through his town and no one knows who the hell he is. Yup pretty much like that except I'd probably be screaming 'But we did flatlays together and you don't remember?!' all the way down Blogger Falls. My point is that blogging has changed my life and the idea that I may have just never started my blog is just reaaally weird.
Amazing friends, opportunities and hours of blog post writing aside, one of the biggest changes has been the way I live my life. And no I don't mean the fact that I take about a billion photos of my food, or that 'it's for my blog' is my new favourite excuse ever (if you don't use that, are you even a blogger?). Nah, blogging has changed the way I live my life for the better because I explore more. Not in a climbing mountains, hugging pandas kind of way but this Londoner has explored her city more in the past two years, then I ever did in my 18 before that.

Blogging has made me realise that I took living in London for granted. It's one of the greatest cities in the world with so much culture and diversity, and yet I spent so much of my time before blogging going to the same places and doing the same things. But blogging gave me an excuse to explore London, look for new hangouts and try lots of new things and that is honestly something I will always be grateful for. And you know what I really shouldn't have needed the excuse because you should always live your life to the fullest. But hey the chance to share great new places with you all, and explore corners of this city that I've never been to, that is definitely something worth blogging for.
Thanks for reading lovelies! And p.s if you're wondering this beautiful house is Kentwell Hall in Suffolk - definitely recommend visiting!
I love reading this, Vicky and you shared a different outlook on how blogging has changed your life. Usually we read about making friends all over the globe or how we tend to accumulate more crap than we would if we were not blogging so this is a great read. Blogging does change us for the better and we see an appreciate so many things that we didn't before.

I really agree with you. I live in Bath and i have had the same experience as you, i never really thought about it much before i started blogging and taking pictures. I can't imagine not having my blog, its strange to think of my life before it.

I couldn't agree more! Blogging has give me a hobby, given me something to get up and do something with my life kind of attitude. Before blogging I was such a shy person that hardly ever went out and explored anywhere let alone speak to people whether that's in person or over the internet. Lovely words :) xx
