Hey Lovelies! First up, I hope you all had the loveliest Christmas. Mine was spent relaxing, for once. As the queen of over-thinking and doing a billion things at once, it was nice to actually switch off for Christmas and Boxing day, and throw all responsibilities out of the window. And even more excitingly, I was lucky enough to receive an Olympus Pen E-PL8 for Christmas so these are officially the first photos with my camera (eek!). I'm also hoping to re-boot my youtube, now I finally have a good camera and start doing videos again. So watch this space in 2017.
But for today's post, I'm venturing into foreign territory with my first try of Essie. As a girl who is a tad nail polish obsessed, I was super excited when I found this adorable pink shade in my stocking. Muchi Muchi (£7.99) reminds me of a strawberry milkshake. It's Barbie pink with a wonderful creaminess to it. As with most pale nail polishes, to really get that opacity you need about 3-4 coats of this nail polish, but alternatively you can use this as a super subtle 'my nails but better' shade with one or two coats. So far I've had no chipping, so I expect this should last a week no problem (that's without a base or top coat!). Also it's a pretty fast dryer too, so I'm honestly very impressed!
This beautiful Katie Loxton Pretty In Pink Perfect Pouch was a gift from my cousin and I'm just so in love. If you haven't realised already, I really love pink... So this clutch sums me up in a nutshell. And if you're wondering what the hell that little pig is, it's a cute little gift I got my sister that managed to sneak it's way into the photos. It's actually a Chuppon Self Watering Animal, so you put the straw part into a glass and it grows a cute lil' plant in his backpack. Adorable right?
Thanks for reading lovelies! What's your go to nail polish at the moment?

That colour is beautiful! I've always been a huge Essie fan - I may have to invest in this one too!

Cute pink shade! Haven't tried Essie nail polish yet but my current go to is the one from China Glaze, Always A Lady.

What a pretty shade! That clutch is also gorgeous too :) To answer your question, at the moment I'm tending to go towards bronze shades recently, it changes every month haha!
