Hello Lovelies! I adore eye shadow palettes, and I adore Bourjois so when you put the two together I am bound to fall a little bit in love... Bourjois recently released two mini palettes with 8 shades each: Les Nudes and Les Smoky and I'm a bit in love with both of them but I'll save Les Smoky for another day. This is actually a pretty new thing from Bourjois, because correct me if I'm wrong but they tend to shy away from bigger palettes, releasing single eyeshadows and quads.
One of the things that I immediately loved about Bourjois Palette Les Nudes (£11.99) is that it is so handbag friendly, with its compact swivel design and mirror - they are the perfect on the go palette! Also can we talk about the design? It's so cute and girly, and just totally me. Bourjois just always nail the Parisian chic feel with their packaging, and bring a little bit more luxe to the high street beauty world.
Les Nudes has a really interesting mix of shades. The first three are the most unique: there's a super pale white, icy green and a super pretty lilac which are all honestly shades that I'm not exactly sure how to use. But then there are the last five shades including a darkish purple, absolutely gorgeous gold, a silvery shade, a grey and a slightly matte black. If there's anything you should know about Bourjois and eyeshadow is they never really do subtle. These shades are all super shimmery and in your face, but look lovely for a special day look, and also a night look too.
As far as pigmentation goes, I'm super impressed. Even the light shades are super pigmented, and have a great colour pay off. Even better they have pretty good lasting power too, even without a primer as I started the day with eyeshadow without it magically disappearing to god knows where. Seriously what is it with eyeshadow and always disappearing so quickly? The only real negative with this palette is that you need to be careful about fall out, because things can get super messy pretty quickly. But apart from that, as always with Bourjois, I am super impressed!
Thanks for reading lovelies! Have you ever tried any Bourjois eye shadows?
The swivel mirror is so cool! It looks really pretty and the swatches look really pretty too.

The shades are beautiful but no kidding about the fall out. I also love the packaging, it has such a Parisian chic vibe to it.

Gorgeous colours! I'm really drawn to that pale green for some reason. x

The design of the pallete is really unique and kind of gives me that 'innovative tech' vibe. I'm happy to hear that the colour payoff is good despite the fallout. My first eyeshadow item was actually a little Bourjois eyepearls mini pallete that was very very petite but cute as pie :)
