Hello Lovelies! Judging by my lack of Lush reviews, lucky ol' you will be seeing a large influx of the rest of the Mother's Day collection over this week in time for the day itself. Blame my hectic final year lifestyle but blogging has been a bit on the back burner especially as I'm doing Youtube now. If anyone could explain to me how to successfully juggle life that would be helpful, thanks. Rant aside, let's talk about this absolutely beautiful bubble bar...
Your Mother Should Know Bubble Bar £5.95 is wonderfully sassy, with its cool 60's flower power vibe and wonderfully vibrant colours. As I said before I'm a little enamoured with this year's collection, with Baa Bar and Elsie being two of my favourite ever releases. And Your Mother Should Know is no exception as it has a lovely fresh scent made up of Neroli, Grapefruit, Orange Flower and Rosewood. When using this bubble bar you're presented with one major decision *cue dramatic music* - how do I use it? If you're a bit of a perfectionist, you'd probably use all the different coloured bits separately but personally I just broke off a little of each colour every time.
When crumbled under water, using a bit of each colour it turns out a sort of golden yellow colour although not as vibrant as I hoped to be honest. But still it produces a lovely bubbly bath, that any mother would love (my mother shall be getting one of these). The only thing that is a little disappointing is the price tag. This bubble bar is pretty expensive at nearly £6.00, so that is something to think about. My mum always questions why I spend so much money on pretty baths, but always wants to steal my Lush products, so that tells you a lot really.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I hope you had a great week!
I haven't bought anything from Lush in ages - definitely going to check out the Mother's Day collection! x

The scent of this bubble bar sounds great, although it's not the cutest of the range - in fact, I'm not sure what the design is supposed to represent :P
ReplyDeleteThe colour in the bath is really pretty. Of course almost £6 for a few baths is a lot of money, but it feels like such a treat so it's okay to have one once in a while :D
